Mr. Smedley comes to the newsstand and is astonished to hear Chester play. He thanks the Bellini's for their remarkable cricket and he even says that it is "the most delightful hour I have ever spent." Mrs. Smedley decides to write a letter to the New York Times, and implores all New Yorkers to head to the Bellini's newsstand to hear Chester.
It seems like Chester the cricket may bring good luck to the Bellini's after all!
Questions for Thought:
Why do you think Chester needs a manager? Why does Tucker want to manage his career?
How does Chester learn new songs?
How do you think the publicity will affect Chester?
Great work everyone! We are almost done! I can't wait to see what happens, but I will be sad when our reading adventure comes to an end!
Happy Reading!
