Well friends, we come to the end. I am so sad that our time reading this book together is over, and I will miss our nightly blog chats, as well as these characters that we have gotten to know so well. Although I am sad it is over, I am so proud of all of you. You committed to this project with me, and I couldn't be more overwhelmed with joy at how it turned out. Thank you for your participation. I sincerely hope you enjoyed it. I know I did.
This last Chapter was so bittersweet. That means that it was happy, yet sad, at the same time. The friends must say goodbye, as Chester leaves for his home in Connecticut. I had tears in my eyes again, as Chester performed a final private concert, just for Mario. I was happy that he took the bell, and it gave Mario a sign that Chester left for good. I didn't want him to worry that something bad had happened to Chester, and I am glad that Mario is at peace with Chester leaving.
For our final question, it is very simple:
Did you enjoy this book? What was your favorite part, and why?
Thanks for coming on this journey. I hope you had fun.
Happy Reading,
Mrs. Walker
P.S. There's a sequel!! If you are interested in reading more about our friends Tucker, Harry Cat, and Chester, check out Tucker's Countryside, by George Selden.
